2. Bookmark your site as social bookmark sites. The easiest way to do this, is to add this to your page: http://addthis.com/ and then just go through the list and bookmark your page on each network. It has more then 300 you can submit too, so that’s alot of high PR one way backlinks. You will be busy for a while! Try to mix it up a bit though, you don’t want to do too much of one thing and then get burned out on it.
3. Post in forums – Write a speech about your site, products or idea. Try to make it as little as spam as possible. The speech should usually be about 250+ characters. Post this speech in forums that are relevant to your site or search terms on google like “showcase my website forum” or “showcase my website” etc with a backlink to your site. This is good because it helps you get your keyword strength up as well as provides real traffic back to your site, unlike alot of the other methods. For a more blackhat approach (not recommended) you can post your speech stuffed full of your keywords in a bunch of abandoned forums on google. They are easy to find, just find one spammer and type “*spammers name* forum” on google and you will find a trail of abandoned forums with them.

4. Submit to Article Directories – Write a speech about your site 350+ characters in the 3rd person and submit it to as many article directories as you can. Read our other guides about articles submission to find out how to make sure that you are getting a higher approval rate. This is one of the best things you can do for your site, you can put your keywords in the title, article and meta information of these high PR sites. Great for getting your site indexed and noticed. This will help you grow your keyword strength on search engines alot.
5. Submit Press Releases – Basically the same as above, you write an article about your site but it has to be “news worthy” so make sure it’s got something in the speech that makes your site different from other sites / articles. This is really the best way to get your site ranked higher, but it’s not easy to do. You can always higher a professional.
6. Open Classified Ads – Use classified ad networks to post your site links and products. Keywords are not so much necessary here, but just make sure to target highly populated areas or several.

Use Alexa.com & Yahoo Site Explorer to Steal Backlinks – Go to alexa.com, look up your competitor sites and click links this will show you the links they have and you can simply just go to the location and get a link there yourself. Yahoo site explorer works the same exact way, just type in the site you wish to see links from.
8. Post comments on blogs – Post comments on blog sites that are relevant to your site’s topic with your back link in your comment or in your profile. For a blackhat approach just use yahoo site explorer to see backlinks from other people’s sites and steal the spammed blogs (blogs that have heavy spam you can add your links too).
9. Use Facebook & Twitter – Make a facebook & twitter for your business or website, so that you can update things about it on there. You can also include your links on the networks to land people on your site. If you add a few people everyday for 6 months, your list will be so large people will just start adding you randomly. Make a page on facebook and get people to like it. These two sites are ranked #2 & #10 at the time of this post globally. That means they get more traffic then almost all other sites in the world.
10. Submit to Link Directories – Submit a small description, keywords, title and email in most cases to link directories. See more on our page about free link directories to submit to, non-reciprocal.
11. Contact webmasters with sites relevant to yours, ask them to trade links with you. It’s pretty easy to do really, just write up a speech that will work for copy pasting about your site and how you want to trade links / banner ads.
12. Use ping tools – Use site ping tools to ping your blogs, articles and website.
