How to switch back to your old Yahoo mail classic interface

If you’re fed up or did not like the new Yahoo mail interface for some reason either it is low speed connection or you would better like to be in the older Yahoo mail classic version than this post is for you. You will not find any option in their new interface to switch back to your classic Yahoo mail. But don’t think there is no available option, you will find it below.

Newest versions of Gmail, Yahoo do not work properly in older web browsers. And Yahoo mail new version will never load up on your Internet Explorer 6. This is the tool that we are going to use to get back your old Yahoo mail classic version. You have to run IE6 in your computer and then you will need need no more steps for reverting back. But that seems odd going back to Internet Explorer 6 for the cause of just running Yahoo mail classic version.

So for this cause, there is a plug-in called user agent Switcher. This plug-in makes Yahoo mail recognise your browser as whatever version that you wish to. You can plug-in to send information to websites that collect browser version information to provide you personalised experience. It is as an easy usable plug-in where you can select the version you need from the options.
Just install user agent Switcher plug-in for Firefox ( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-switcher/ ). Set the version as Internet Explorer 6 and then visit Yahoo mail.
Yahoo mail will take you to a screen that this version IE6 is not supported and will ask you to upgrade your browser to Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer 9. But you may not do any of them and just use the link that is provided in the browser to view Yahoo mails classic version.

Now the best part of this method is that you need not switch to IE6 each time you login to Yahoo mail. It will be saved in your preferences as default on the website and whenever you visit it you will get to see the classic version. There will be also a link to upgrade to the latest.
