Should you drop Facebook for Google plus

As you all know Google has introduced its famous Google plus social network two weeks before. Google+ has created a bang on the internet and pushed back most of the previous social networks. But now Facebook one of the toughest competitor of Google is struggling to retain its users. The 500 million population of Facebook is decreasing day by day. But do you think Google plus is so valuable so that you leave Facebook and flat and flood towards it?

 

Bloggers have already started supporting Google+ because they have no other way than going behind Google’s project. Only if they go behind Google they will be able to earn a residual income. Most of the bloggers rely only on Google AdSense and Google search results for their monthly income. So if they don’t adopt to Google plus they will lose it. Google has already stated the plus one metrics will affect the search results.last year when Google started using social networks for ranking trending topics I guessed sooner or later there will be a social network released by Google but I never expected that it will affect search rankings so badly as if they are indicated at present.

 

I have already found a lot of people selling Google plus one service on forums and websites stating they are going to be the factors determining your search engine rankings, so as for bloggers I don’t think we have another option than promoting Google plus in our blogs.But now the question is will Facebook like still be considered as a factor for ranking trending topics.

 

For general social users, Google plus is only at its start-up stage and you need not flood towords it leaving your Facebook account.That being said I don’t wish to stop you if you have the desire to check out Google plus. You can even get a Google plus invitation from me by just posting a comment below.Google plus does has its advantages over Facebook. Even though it is at its start up it has developed lot of applications for entertaining its users. The topmost application developed by that Google plus team is that they have created an application for using Facebook inside Google called Google+ Facebook.It is an awesome application which allows you to use all the Facebook features inside Google plus. This has been a killer for Facebook and has lead to a great population of Facebook users moving to words Google plus.I have previously written a post on how to integrate Facebook with Google plus.

 

I started this article but still I am in a confusion which network will be the best when considered in a long term. So I will continue to use both Facebook and Google plus. The number one and number two of the Internet are having a hard time between them and let us expect it will cool down very soon.
